Revamping Cartiera BURGO in Mantua

Comes SPA has been chosen by the PRO-GEST Group as the successful tenderer for the development and installation of the electrical-instrumental system for the revamping Cartiera Burgo project, located in Mantua.

“We are ready to face this new collaboration in line with the philosophy of the PRO-GEST Group which today aims to redevelop and modernize the Mantua industrial hub” declares the President Vincenzo Cesareo.

The project involves the installation of a new machine for the production of continuous-cycle corrugated cardboard custom-made by Valmet, a Finnish group leader in the production of paper machines. The new production line is expected to produce high-quality lightweight recycled materials. The width of the machine is 7.6 m with an installed capacity of 550,000 tons of recycled paper.

The works will start in November and will end by the end of March 2018.
