ENIPOWER Mantua Power Plant

Comes SPA has been awarded the contract to develop the electrical installation activities for the Mantua petrochemical plant.

The Mantua plant is the heart of Versalis’ research and technological development, where its largest research center is located and where it is engaged, among other things, in the study of materials to improve their performance and sustainability profile.

The Enipower Mantua power plant generates electricity and heat using natural gas, the traditional source with the lowest environmental impact, with a highly efficient cogeneration system. The power plant’s production satisfies the site’s electricity and heat needs, feeds electricity into the national grid and supplies almost all of the heat to the district heating system of the city of Mantua.
