Comes SpA among 67 Made in Italy excellences honored by Deloitte Private’s “Best Managed Companies” Award

Taranto, Oct. 9, 2024 – Comes SpA is, for the first time, among the winning companies of the seventh edition of the Best Managed Companies Award, the prize for Made in Italy business excellence promoted by Deloitte Private in collaboration with ELITE-Euronext Group, Piccola Industria Confindustria and with the methodological and strategic support of ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

“We are deeply gratified to be recognized by Deloitte among the 67 excellences of Made in Italy and among the three best companies in Puglia,” says Vincenzo Cesareo, CEO of Comes SpA. ”We have been on a serious path of sustainable growth for several years, accompanied by strong investments in research and development. Continuous product and process innovations synergistically involve all our divisions, constantly improving our business performance. All ESG parameters prove us right and propel us into the future with the full confidence of our stakeholders. I want to thank, again, all the people who have made these results possible with their daily commitment, and who constitute the added value of Comes.”

“Also this seventh edition testifies to the presence of excellent entrepreneurial realities in our country. Through the analysis of the parameters that characterize the Award and that are crucial to the management of a business, we awarded 67 companies that represent excellence in our productive fabric. In addition to a solid base of award-winning companies that were already part of this multi-year growth path, demonstrating how such an award enhances virtuous business management over time, we have added new realities of the highest profile. More than one-fifth of the awardees, in fact, are companies that joined the program this year, by virtue of their solid and ambitious management skills,” comments Ernesto Lanzillo, Deloitte Partner and Deloitte Private Leader of the Central Mediterranean area (Italy, Greece and Malta).

“The evaluation parameters designed and adopted by Deloitte experts and the jury, which led to the awarding of the 67 Italian companies for their managerial capabilities, are elements that we believe are fundamental for companies operating in a complex scenario such as the current one. In a historical phase in which the emergence of new technologies is shaping new horizons and new business opportunities, organizations must be able to have leadership that is prepared and attentive to these new trends, as well as the ability to adapt and shape their structure by virtue of the new priorities,” concludes Andrea Restelli, Partner at Deloitte and Italy manager of the Best Managed Companies program.
