Comes SpA, as a technical partner of Ansaldo Energia, took part in the electrical and instrumental installation activities for the construction of the new 800 MW combined cycle unit at the Tavazzano and Montanaso (Lodi) power station, which brings the plant’s total capacity to 1,970 MW, making it capable of meeting the energy needs of around one and a half million households.

Operational flexibility and extremely fast start-up times of the plant, owned by EP Produzione, represent a fundamental pillar for the security of energy supply, effectively supporting the balancing of the national electricity system.
