Project Description
Comes SpA is awarded the development of electrical installation activities for the Mantua petrochemical plant.
The Mantua plant is the heart of Versalis’ research and technological development, where its largest research center is based and where it is engaged in, among other things, the study of materials to improve their performance and sustainability profile.
The Enipower Mantua power plant generates electricity and heat using natural gas, which is the traditional source with the lowest environmental impact, with a high-efficiency cogeneration system. The plant’s output meets the site’s electricity and heat needs, feeds electricity into the national grid, and supplies almost all of the heat to the city of Mantua’s district heating system.
