The new terminal at Lyon Airport is being expanded as a continuation of the existing terminal on a 70,000 m² site. This expansion has doubled the total area of Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport to handle 15 million passengers in the long term.

The airport received the ACI award for the ‘best European airport’ in its category (up to 25 million passengers per year).

On-site operations started in January 2023. Completion and commissioning of this strategic facility is scheduled for 2024.
