Project Description
Comes SpA is awarded the development of electrical installation activities and instruments for the Irshing incinerator.
The Irsching 6 thermoelectric power plant is one of the first emergency power plants in Europe, designed to ensure the stability of the power grid, as it is able to cope with any fluctuations characteristic of renewable energy.
At the heart of the plant is the 300 MW AE94.3 gas turbine, which is capable of quickly coming on line effectively to avoid blackouts in the event of disturbances to the power grid, ensuring its continued operation.

Activities began in July 2021. Completion and commissioning of this strategic facility is expected by September 2022.
