Alfredo Cofano was born in Taranto in 1977.

A graduate in Economics and Business Management, he is currently Chief Strategy Officer and Head of the Mechanical BU of Comes S.p.A.

A partner and executive of Comes S.p.A., he is also a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Management Team and Operating Committee.

Within the association, he sits on the General Council of Confindustria Taranto as an ‘Additional Member of the Metalmechanics and Shipbuilding Section’, with responsibility for Relations with Large Enterprises.

Previously, he gained extensive experience in the industrial mechanics sector as Director and General Manager of M.A.R.R.A S.r.l. and General Manager of Nuova Gamma S.r.l., companies merged into Comes S.p.A. in 2020.
