Marbach open-cycle plant

Comes SpA has been awarded, as a partner of Ansaldo Energia, the contract for the design, supply, installation and service of an open-cycle power plant with an installed capacity of 300 MW in Marbach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

The plant – named “Marbach 4” – will be equipped with an AE94.3A gas turbine, associated generator and auxiliary systems. The plant will be operational by October 2022.

The total value of the EPC and LTSA contracts is more than 100 million euros, and the Client is EnBW Energie BadenWürttemberg AG, based in Karlsruhe.
